Rather than step out of you hotel to find a hoard of munchkin's hiding in the bushes isn't my idea of paradise, no I'm thinking more along the lines of Majorca somewhere over the Mediterranean.

Wake Up Where the Clouds are Far Behind

The clouds will certainly be some distance behind you, or in front of you dependent on how you look at it, when you make your way over to Majorca. The paths won’t be a shiny yellow but the beaches certainly will be. Making friends on holiday is something that we all do as socialising can be a big part of the experience and in Majorca making friends is as easy as in the merry old land of Oz. In places like Magaluf you are sure to few people doing an involuntary impression of the scarecrow on a night that’s for sure.
Popular nightspots of summer can be found in both Magaluf and Palma Nova which are a stone’s throw away from each other. Those two places receive much of the tourism attention on Majorca solely based on the beaches and bars which allow festivities and entertainment to be practically none stop. Scenes of the emerald city are definitely somewhere you would want to try and draw comparison with those places, at least I don’t remember Dorothy’s head on a bar whilst the tin man poured two bottles of Tequila into her mouth. Everybody has heard of the electric atmosphere on a night and all the joy it brings, so singing its praises will do little further to inspire you.
On the north side of the island you can take the time to relax and recharge over summer, read a book, knit a cardigan or plot the downfall of the Nazi’s on whatever handheld console you own. Alcudia tends to take much of the plaudits as it offers anything and everything to families and couples who are looking to enjoy the sights of Majorca opposed to the booze fuelled sounds. Take a load off this summer and return to normal life a much more pleasant and tolerant person, that is until the trials and tribulations of the holiday season comes around and wears you down right up to your next summer break.
There are a number of reasons why we fly away to warmer shores, whether it’s for relaxation or partying. The shores of Majorca have long provided us sun seekers with a fantastic island packed to the brim with great resorts that offer is the options which we seek. At the end of holidays in Majorca you will rarely ever catch anyone saying that there is no place like home!
