The best San Diego beach to visit is Mission Beach, which allows you to see everything about Southern California lifestyle.
San Diego doesn’t have a large public transit system, but it still has a trolley system that aims to make traveling easier and quicker. The trolley system just opened the Green Line, which can take you from the downtown area to East County and even down to the border. If you don’t feel like challenging the freeways then you should use the trolley to get you where you need to go especially within the urban areas. By buying an all day pass, you can simply enjoy your trolley ride and see the unique city of San Diego.
While there are many amusement parks in San Diego including Sea World and Legoland, no visit to San Diego is complete without taking the time to see the giant pandas at the San Diego Zoo. The four giant pandas at the San Diego Zoo are one of the biggest tourist attractions in the city. It is best to visit the zoo during the early morning hours so you can view the pandas while they are active and not sleeping.
Once you are done visiting the pandas at the zoo you want to go over to Balboa Park. This is both a public playground and the main cultural center of San Diego. An excellent way to enjoy the waterfront in San Diego is to take a harbor cruise. When you take a Harbor Cruise, you can travel by Navy ships, sport fishers and pleasure craft. This gives you the opportunity to take in the many waterfront hotels, the downtown skyline and the San Diego Bay Bridge.
