Whilst Glastonbury itself is an attractive town, the festival is without doubt the reason why most people visit the town. Although tickets for the festival are extremely difficult to get hold of, it is not widely known that those people who live within a small radius of the festival location are given completely free tickets.
Wells. Similar to Glastonbury, Wells is a small town in Somerset that as a town does not have any major outstanding points of interest and is visited primarily for its beauty. However, just outside of the town of Wells, Wookey Hole Caves can be found, which is one of the most visited attractions in England.
The Wookey Hole Caves feature a range of different tourist attractions, all relating to the local history of the area, with one of the most famous features being the Witch of Wookey Hole.
Legend has it that a witch has always lived in the caves and stays in there after being blessed with Holy water by a Monk for causing problems in relationships between several couples. To this day, a witch walks around the caves and can be easily spotted by all who visit.
