In all seriousness though there really are over 39 beaches along the vast coast of the largest Balearic Island. That also means that there is plenty of different resorts to choose from which enable all tourists, no matter what their reason for a holiday is, to enjoy a great sun filled holiday.
I would be wasting your time by listing a huge number of beaches on the island like Cala Fonoll, Magaluf, Cala Torta, Es Trenc, Es Marques, Sa Calobra, Cala Figuera, Cala Major, Cala Dor, Formentor, Cala Fornells, Port De Soller, etc. Although I may have left a few out there you will still probably no closer in choosing a destination, perhaps it’s because you are unaware of their location or maybes because whichever one you choose you are guaranteed have golden sands and clear waters.
If you can’t decide on a resort from what kind of beach is on offer, which is a bit of a backwards way of doing things anyway, then choose one based on what facilities and activities you can enjoy whilst there. The island capital Palma is an obvious choice because it is a very modern city with many fine restaurants and hotels on offer. Palma is also very close to the airport and the football team RCD Mallorca’s stadium and of course its own fantastic beach. Most of the people who get off the plane at Palma de Mallorca Airport head to the crazy party town of Magaluf where it has a super duper beach. During the day you will notice the beach looks like a scene from Dawn of the Dead with the amount of bodies stumbling around after a heavy amount of drinking the previous night. The fantastic nightlife is enjoyed by thousands each and every summer where many people keep heading back.
Quieter resorts can be found in Mallorca such Alcudia where many people go to enjoy the glorious scenery that is on offer. Whilst in Alcudia you can scale Talaia d’Alcudia when you reach the mountains peak you can enjoy a majestic elevated view of the whole town and the surrounding natural beauty that treats the town like a cove. The hills are green whilst the beaches are golden, something that is almost token for each and every resort in Mallorca.
Wherever you intend to take yourself to Mallorca you will enjoy great sun and surroundings, that is a given, though you will need to put thought into your resort because if you’re looking to relax and you’re in party central then you could be in for a long holiday, babe.
