5 Places To Visit By Car When In Miami
Auto Europe has been a leader in worldwide car hire services for over 50 years. Recently the company has expanded to include over 7,000 car hire destinations worldwide including car hire Malaga and car hire Alicante.
One of America’s most visited cities, Miami is located in south east Florida and just like the rest of the state, benefits from a fantastic year round climate, with it’s summer being a particular highlight.
Whilst many people who visit use public transport to get around, it’s highly recommended that you take into consideration car hire Miami.
Allowing you to travel wherever you want, whenever you want, car hire Miami is generally one of the most affordable and reliable ways of getting to some of the most popular attractions in and around the area, such as these 5 fantastic places of interest.
1. South beach – often regarded as one of the best beaches in the world, thanks not only to the beach itself, but to the many bars and restaurants that are available in the local vicinity, a visit to South Beach should be high up on anyone’s list of things to do when staying in Miami.
2. Boca Baton – situated in south east Florida, Boca Baton is one of Florida’s most beautiful cities.
Filled with palm tree lined streets and stunningly beautiful and clean beaches which can be enjoyed the year round thanks to the area’s favourable climate (even in the middle of January you can expect an average high of 24.4 degrees centigrade), Boca Baton has some great attractions in itself, such as Red Reef Park, where you can swim with a snorkel out to a nearby reef.
3. Orlando – although it’s around a 4 hour drive from Miami, a visit to Orlando is always recommended whenever you’re in Florida, purely for the reason that there is so much to see and do.
Aside from the fact there is in excess of a dozen theme parks (the oldest being Walt Disney Resort’s Magic Kingdom and the newest being SeaWorld Orlando Resort’s Aquatica), there’s Gatorland, a place where you can get close to various alligators; Orlando’s Ripley’s Believe It Or Not museum; the Orlando Science Centre and the Titanic Experience, a museum where you can experience what it would have been like to be onboard the Titanic.
4. Downtown Miami – as one of the most important financial and media centres in America, Miami has a whole host of organisations who call the city home and if you take a trip downtown, you’ll be able to see exactly how popular the city has become.
As well as there being more international banks in downtown Miami than there is anywhere else in the world, it is also connected to the Dante B. Fascell Port of Miami, the busiest cruise liner port in the world (data provided by the Port of Miami).
5. Key Biscayne – located in this beautiful part of the state is the Miami Seaquarium, which allows you to do something a lot of people dream of doing and that’s to swim with dolphins.
Having a whole host of other aquatic animals that you can see, touch and interact with, it’s the ability to swim with dolphins that makes the attraction so popular. And with many reports of swimming with dolphins being one of the best experiences possible in life, it’s no wonder why.
