Good morning,
Just a little clarifying note regarding luxury accommodation in St. George’s: Our CAPITAL St. George’s itself does not feature any luxury accommodation. The PARISH St. George though is home to most of the island’s (luxury) accommodation in the areas Grand Anse, Point Salines, L’Anse Aux Epines, Morne Rouge and True Blue. All of these are close to the town of St. George’s, so sightseeing in our historic capital (which celebrates its tri-centennial anniversary this year) is within 15-20 minutes drive from most hotels.
The airport’s name has just recently been changed to ‘Maurice Bishop International Airport’.
Grenada is a stunning beauty with its lush interior, pristine beaches and the warm smiles of its people!
Warm regards from the Isle of Spice,
Michaela
